Di atas beberapa sebab, keperluan menurunkan berat badan sangat dituntut. Iya.. BERAT badan. =.=
Alhamdulillah, badan masih sihat dan tiada penyakit. Except for yang dah lama reside within me - resdung(thanks to my beloved two cats Kitty and Kidtun - status: deceased), vertigo, and long gone diagnosed low blood pressure. Alhamdulillah. Cuma, apparently my size isn't going any smaller. And all my uncles and aunties were like "OMG Asif, kenapa macam bapak orang?"
Sekitar dua minggu lepas, di surau berdekatan rumah saya, ada perkara menarik berlaku. Kali ini ada seorang pakcik Cina yang nak masuk Islam. Back then, pernah ada seorang yang nak masuk Islam kat surau tersebut. Darah muda saya sedikit menggelegak bila melihatkan AJK-AJK surau dan jemaah memandang pakcik tersebut macam orang yang sangat asing. Langung tidak disantuni. Melihat dari jauh dengan muka yang tidak menggambarkan kemesraan. Malah mereka meneruskan ceramah tanpa ada seorang pun wakil surau yang diwakilkan untuk melayani keperluan beliau. Perlu menunggu sehingga habis. Seorang. Perkara sama berlaku sekali lagi pada pakcik Cina ini. Menerima kemungkinan jemaah-jemaah surau mungkin belum biasa. Tapi, cubalah paling kurang senyum atau berjabat tangan. Few only. Saya langsung mendekati pakcik tersebut. Uncle Ong panggil. Bertanya-tanya. Alhamdulillah. Dia seronok. Masa itu kena balik, ada program. Minta nombor HP pakcik tu. Bercadang nak transfer hubungan dengan Hidayah Centre atau MACMA. Masa nak balik, saya bagi tahu pakcik itu bertuah ada anak perempuan baik macam itu(dia bercerita pasal anak perempuan dia). Kemudian tiba-tiba, "Awak dah ada berapa anak?". Saya macam "what the fish!!" dalam hati. Hati puas menahan nak gelak habis-habis. Sebab ingat duduk dalam surau. Kena hormat. "Umur saya baru 20 lah pakcik.. Kahwin pun tak lagi". Tersenyum lebar tahan gelak menampakkan dua gigi taring saya. Kalau boleh gigit pakcik ni dah gigit dah. Geram. Tapi tak apa lah, dia pun bau arak. Dia balas, "Wahh..u nampak memang tak tua, tapi macam sudah matang macam itu bapa orang". Again, kalau dia ni lembu memang dah kena gulai kawah dah. Sabo je la. Sebelum balik, wish all the best pada pakcik itu. Pada yang sama, berazam saiz kena KECILKAN!
It's not that I'm unhealthy. Every week I jog three to four times, every session 30 minutes or about 2.5 kilometers(Taman Metropolitan!). I also do dumbbells workout every day. I still can dive and swim healthily. Makan malam pun dah kurang. Ala kadar. Air manis pun tak minum. Pagi sahaja beli teh ais. Or it is not sufficient? What is wrong?
Sekarang ini pun saya buka kelas private taekwondo ajar adik-adik. Every Sunday. For sure banyak bakar kalori. Oh..Please help me find more ways! :D
Lifestyle. Ada orang dia ubah sikit dah boleh kecilkan saiz. Tapi ada orang dia ambil banyak usaha dan masa untuk ubah, saiz dia berubah sikiiiiiit je. Apa-apa pun, kena jaga pemakanan. Kena teruskan exercise.

Ini pertanding Ironman Kona Championship. I follow this every year since they started few years back. This year akan start October. Di Hawai. Mereka berlumba - berenang for 2.6 miles, kemudian bike 112 miles, kemudian running for 26.2 miles straight. Badan manusia sangat mengagumkan. I do not know if it is appropriate for a Muslim to participate, but if it is appropriate, I wish to finish this race one day. Maybe 10 years from now.
Tengok jangan tak tengok. Even yang tempang dua-dua kaki pun boleh habiskan race ini.

oh, nak healthier lifestyle insyaAllah senang je. lg2 laki, lg senang turun. i remember i used to lost 12kgs approx in 4months. and 5kgs lost in 1 month is achievable, tp y tu strict diet punya la. susah sikit nk tahan klau strict2 ni, so last2 ikut sunnah Nabi saw & mcm imam shafiee ckp, 'makan before lapar, berhenti before kenyang'. i suggest you calculate yr cals intake, 2500cals kot or lebih sikit for a guy. so everday mkn kurang dr tu. nasi sehari sekali je ke. or 2 kali but portion sikittt, mcm 1/4 dr pinggan tu, or setengah senduk. (tp fr a guy, metabolism lg tinggi dr a woman, so tkpe kot mkn lbh sket). lauk lebih, sayur n fruits penting. air putih kena byk. 3litres approx kn a day. n klu lapar, minum air putih byk2 is very recommended. n eat fruits bila lapar wktu mlm. n minum susu. sunnah lgpun kn, mmg bleh kenyang, how u start yr breakfast is v important. jgn mkn nasi or benda berat wktu pg, as kndungan gula dia tinggi n cepat turun pulak in yr blood, thus nnt pkul 10 da lapar balik, lapar gila pulak tu. so i suggest you eat oats and milk, fruits or sandwiches. tp guna wholewheat bread. white bread is a no-no, fr someone y nk turunkn kilos. n mcm biasa, buang semua junkfoods and benda manis frm yr diet. mungkin patut cuba minum air kosong j fr d 1st month you started yr diet. insyaAllah nnt akn biasa.

ReplyDeleteoh, lupa pulak, sy xsentuh on yr physical activities sbb rsanya da cukup ok. i believe go fr natural is the best, means, eating a good diet and being active, rather than makan minum certain products. in my opinion je la :)
ReplyDeleteFna - 12 kgs in four months? outstanding. that breakfast fact i didnt know before. insya Allah. thanks for the tips doctor. i dont eat dieting products, but i know a product which is good. it is like you replace your food with the product, on which the basis is the same. Healthy food. Even healthier than regular food - Herbalife. Cuma, terlalu mahal, and cannot yet disciplined myself to follow it. Of exercise and reduced eating I can. Syukran again.

So, to lose weight (taught by my trainer):
1. To control your diets. Just like in previous comments. Eat breakfast, do NOT skip breakfast. Reduce your food volume intake. By maybe half? Depends on you. you can start slowly. Dinner is enough with only Tamar, take some, since you're not doing anything heavy at night.
2. To control your sleep. do NOT sleep late. before 12 is advisable. Alhough I do not know why, but people who always stay up late tend to be putting on weight faster than people who sleeps early. Then wake up early. But make sure that you sleep in a multiplication of 1.5 hours. That's the best one for human mind and body.
3. Next, is to do exercises. You'll want to prioritize which one you want to do first. Is it to lose fat first or would you want to be firm and build muscles. If you want to lose fat first, then I suggest doing exercises with low capacity but with high intensity. Meaning do something easy but for many times. If you want to build muscles then make it harder and do only few times. and when doing cardio, use the interval method, slow and steady for about 1 minutes and go as fast as you can for about 20 seconds and repeats. For weights exercises, then you might want to study which muscles does the exercises affect and harden them when exercising.
I think that's all I know. I lost only a couple of kilograms for the first week but with patience maybe it will multiplies.
